Young people are at the centre of everything we do here at Young Epilepsy. Our work is driven by the experiences and voices of young people. We support young people to be advocates for change. Whether they’re deep diving into how seizures work, their journeys growing up or even just their day to day, it’s all so we can help make things just that little bit easier. That’s where our Young Reps come in!
We have a group of 14 young people, aged 16-25, from across the nation to give our charity a closer insight on people with epilepsy and help defeat the stigma around this invisible illness.
Since our Young Rep team were formed in January, they have already helped create many blogs and interviews for The Channel, hosted themed Instagram takeovers for National Epilepsy Week, pushed the #facingepilepsy campaign across all social media and so much more! Every event is unique with all members bringing something special to the table.
